PONOS Event Calendar – Updates every Monday! There is a calendar of events on the PONOS AWS event calendar page which details not only the days/times of Treasure Festivals for the week but also details other events that pop up throughout the day such as Cat Ticket Stages, Catfruit Buffet, Builder's Blitz Stages, etc. When there is a specific chance for Treasure from a certain location (e.g., Korea/Nagasaki) then pressing the icon will take you directly to that location. The name of the Treasure can also be found in the collections screen.Įvery once in a while, a Treasure Festival will appear, which "doubles" (read: increases) the chances of you acquiring a treasure from a stage. Once the player has obtained a Treasure from a stage, an icon corresponding to the Treasure tier will appear beside the stage name. Having all Zombie Outbreak Medals of a certain Treasure set will increase the Treasure drop rate of all stages involved, explained in more detail in the section below. Thus, the player may obtain a stage Treasure and Zombie Outbreak clearance medal at the same time. The Z-medals awarded from Zombie Outbreaks are different, given only as a Zombie Outbreak clearance stage reward. The Treasure Festival event roughly doubles the chance of obtaining Treasure, with the base chance of obtaining no Treasure changed from 65% to 30%. Using a Treasure Radar will also guarantee a Superior Treasure upon victory, although this is not recommended. The exception is the first stage of Empire of Cats, Korea/Nagasaki, which always guarantees a Superior Treasure in Chapter 1. Players will often have to repeatedly clear a stage until they obtain the Superior Treasure.īy default, most stages have a 35% chance to drop a Treasure, which then has a 45% chance to be Inferior, 30% Normal, 25% Superior. It is possible for any tier of Treasure to drop however, if a player has already obtained a Treasure from a particular stage the game will not award Treasure of lower or equal tier. Treasure is awarded randomly after clearing each of the main story stages, and a small pop-up will indicate whether a Treasure has been obtained in the victory screen. Without them, your units' base health and attack statistics will be massively decreased, in addition to their Special Ability affects. Obtaining Treasure is paramount and a key aspect of The Battle Cats that must not be neglected if a player is to make any significant progress in the game. 12 Details - Legendary Cat Shield/Sword.10 Details - Anti-Starred Alien Treasures.9 Details - Anti-unstarred Alien Treasures.3.1 Individual Stage Treasure Festivals.Abilities, however, are always described without the Fruit Treasures' bonuses. The Cat Unit and Alien enemy stats provided on this wiki are with all Treasures obtained, except when stated otherwise ("initial stats" are what a unit has at level 1 without any Treasures). The only exception is the Mystery Mask, which affects one chapter's final boss but not the others. Most activated Treasure effects are permanent for each player and carried through all stages the effect then stacks additively with any other Treasure set effects already active or subsequently acquired. Obtaining all Superior Treasures in a chapter awards a massive amount of XP via Catnip Challenges, peaking at 5,000,000 for Cats of the Cosmos Chapter 3. The effect of the boost depends on the quality of the various Treasures in that collection. Examples include massively increased cat health or attack power, debuffs to Aliens, or improvements to certain abilities. Each Treasure exists in up to 3 tiers, which are called Inferior, Normal, and Superior – their icons are colored bronze, silver and gold, respectively.Ĭompleting a regional collection of Treasures gives the player permanent upgrades to many aspects of the game, some of which do not have a counterpart in the XP-purchasable upgrades. Each stage has a Treasure named after a memento from the location, though standard icons are used instead of images. Treasure is an important Stage Reward which may be obtained upon clearing one of the main story stages. Inferior (bronze), Normal (silver), and Superior (gold) Treasures
